Biotechnology company Charles River Laboratories will close its Frederick facility next year, a move that will impact its 57 employees there, according to the company and information from Maryland’s Department of Labor, Licensing & Regulation.
The shutdown of the research model production facility at 8501 Progress Drive in Frederick is expected to begin in March and stretch through August, according to the DLLR website.
