KDG and Saint Vincent College Take Home Prize for “Outstanding Website”
The higher education web design team at KDG worked with SVC to build an award-winning college website.
KDG’s higher education web design team and Saint Vincent College were recognized by the 2017 WebAwards.
ALLENTOWN , PENNSYLVANIA , UNITED STATES , October 23, 2017 /EINPresswire.com/ -- The higher ed web design team at KDG in Allentown was recognized by the 2017 WebAwards and given the “Outstanding Website” prize for their work on a website redesign for Saint Vincent College. The site scored 62 out of a possible 70 points, well above the industry average. Only three university websites received this designation.
Both Saint Vincent College and KDG worked together to design a website that engaged the attention of prospective students.
As one of only a handful of schools in the nation to have monks living, learning, and worshipping in an archabbey and seminary co-located with the college, Saint Vincent College wanted to capture this unique and welcoming environment in its newly designed website. Together, KDG and SVC made this a reality.
The creativity that went into the site, including an “Explore Your Interests” feature for prospects, helped garner the site a high score for innovation. The team at Saint Vincent College created the unique concept for the “Explore Your Interests” framework, making it possible for new students to see which programs of study best match what they most enjoy. It’s a feature customized specifically for the school, and it shows just how much Saint Vincent College has to offer its campus community.
In addition to creativity, design, copywriting, and content all were awarded near-perfect scores by judges.

In addition to winning the “Outstanding Website” prize, the site was also one of three “Best in Show” nominees in the very competitive category of “Colleges & Universities.”
