AFFIRMATIVhealth, presenters of RE:mind, a program to address the millions impacted by Alzheimer’s announced the promotion of Denise M Kalos to President.

Ms. Kalos comes to AFFIRMATIVhealth from the Buck Institute for Research on Aging (Buck), one of the first academic research Institutions focused on understanding the biology of aging and the links associated with chronic diseases such as Alzheimer’s, Type II Diabetes and cardiovascular diseases. During her five year tenure at the Buck, Ms. Kalos delivered the first RE:mind program in August 2015. The RE:mind program teaches patients the foundation of Buck’s multi-therapy approach to improve cognitive function in individuals experiencing mild cognitive impairment.
After demonstrating the validity of the program, in May of 2016 the Buck Institute granted a license to AFFIRMATIVhealth, a physician owned company, to help bring this program to the world. At that time Ms. Kalos joined AFFIRMATIVhealth as its Chief Operating Officer. Since then, Ms. Kalos and a team of medical professionals and scientists continued to develop and expand the Program. AFFIRMATIVhealth recently launched a joint venture in Australia, AFFIRMATIVhealth Australia, which is the first venture to introduce the Program and the science outside the U.S.
